We are taking 26 acres of pasture out of production this grazing season to replant it and need to reduce our herd size.  Therefore, we are offering 12 head of South Poll and high-percentage South Poll cattle for sale, as follows:  seven (7) 2021 proven cows who were exposed to our full blood South Poll bulls from July 1, 2024 to March 1, 2025 ($2,500 each);  three (3) 2023 heifers who were exposed to our full blood South Poll bulls from July 1, 2024 to March 1, 2025 ($3,000); and two (2) 2024 weaned heifer yearlings ($1,800 each).

All of these cattle are at least 75% South Poll (some are undocumented commercial) and two are full blood cows.  All of the cattle are 100% grass fed, provided Free Choice Enterprise’s cafeteria-style minerals, broke to single-strand polybraid fencing, have been vaccinated for blackleg and they are moved daily.  The bred cows and heifers will be calving soon and this offering subject to change as calves are born or for other reasons.  We would like to sell these cattle as a group, but would also sell them individually for a premium.  This could be a nice starter herd for someone and we could also offer the buyer a nice yearling purebred South Poll bull if needed.  The best way to reach me is to call or text 717-689-0360 or email bob.z@comcast.net.
